Through the FAND designation, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics recognizes members who have distinguished themselves among their colleagues, as well as in their communities, by their service to the dietetics profession and by optimizing the nation's health through food and nutrition.

White Vegetables: A Forgotten Source of Nutrients: Purdue Roundtable Executive Summary Co-authored by Liz Marr
May 2013 – With an unrestricted grant from the Alliance for Potato Research and Education, Purdue University convened a scientific roundtable in June 2012 "to bring together experts to address the contributions of white vegetables, including potaotes, as sources of key nutrients and other microconstituents within a dietary pattern supporting health and wellness." A supplement to the May 2013 issue of Advances in Nutrition includes research articles from participants as well as an Executive Summary of the rountable, co-authored by chair Connie Weaver, PhD, and Liz Marr.
